Educational Technology Integration in Primary Schools: Teacher Perspectives and Student Outcomes

  • Abstract :

This study examines the integration of educational technology in primary schools, focusing on teacher perspectives and its impact on student outcomes. As digital tools become increasingly prevalent in classrooms, understanding how teachers perceive and utilize these technologies is essential to maximizing their educational benefits. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and classroom observations across diverse primary school settings. Findings reveal that while teachers generally view educational technology as beneficial for enhancing engagement, personalized learning, and digital literacy, challenges persist—including limited training, infrastructure gaps, and concerns over screen time. Student outcomes, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, show improvement when technology is integrated thoughtfully and aligned with curriculum goals. The study underscores the importance of professional development, ongoing support, and equitable access to technology for both students and educators. By highlighting the connection between teacher attitudes, implementation strategies, and student performance, the research offers valuable insights for policymakers and school leaders aiming to strengthen tech-driven learning in early education.
